Flying a shuttle while being fired upon by your Captain is never something that you sign up for. Having to land the shuttle manually is something that you definitely don't sign up for. The Ensign not only did both of these things, but they did it while their Commanding Officer was being tended to by medical staff. I can think of no greater moment for the first time this award is given in this ship's history. |
