	Character of the Month Awarded Thu May 9th, 2024 @ 12:40am Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke	For the month of April Lieutenant Junior Grade Narin Valen earned this award. The Assistant Chief Science has been quite visable since joining the ship. They have joined into the plot and hit the ground running. It has also been interesting to see as this character has joined the ship while all of this chaos is going on. I especially enjoyed their work with the other science team members in figuring out where everyone is going.

You have made such a mark on this ship that I cannot imagine it without you. Thank you for being a huge part of this crew and community. I love the interactions between yourself and the rest of the team, you have a way of making yourself heard. I look forward to seeing what is in store for us with Narin. Keep up the great work and here is to many many more years with us.
	Meritorious Newcomer Award Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:37pm Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke	Since creating the Pioneer I have never seen someone exemplify this award more than Narin Valen. They joined our fairly tight knit crew while we were in the middle of this large scale mission. Not only did they make themselves known behind the scenes and join our community but they hit plot of the story hard. Working all angles. Great work and I overjoyed to have you aboard.
	Departmental Service Badge: Science Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:38pm Nominated by Lieutenant Commander Alyssa Maren	Narin got thrown in at the deep end when Alyssa disappeared and he was suddenly in charge of the department. He handled it well, participating in a science discussion on what might have happened to the senior staff and where they may be. He also met with the other scientists, learning more about them in a series of great character-development posts.

	Captain's Personal Merit Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:03pm Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke	Narin exzemplifies the ideal of the power behind the throne. Being the power behind Alyssa Maren is a tall order indeed and a challenge that Narin seems always ready to fill. I have enjoyed seeing this character settle into the Pioneer and now look forward to seeing how Narin will continue to amaze. Keep up the great work.
