Personality & Traits

General Overview		Harold is a team player. If ever you need help he is there for you. Even if things look bleak. He will go that extra mile to get you out of a jam. Just don’t betray his trust. Harold can be quite cold to those who let him down. Lose his trust and you lose a friend for life. Once that barrier is crossed there is no going back.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths:- Loyal team member. Photographic memory. Loyal. A hard worker. Likes to make sure the job is done properly. Can tell a good joke or interesting anecdote. Weaknesses:- Cold towards people who lose his trust. Sometimes a little too single minded. Will not eat any kind of chocolate.
Ambitions		Harold would love to have a ship of his own to command one day. Plus he would love to publish his own range of detective story Holo novels.
Hobbies & Interests		Hobbies:- Harold loves to collect old Crime Stories. He also loves to write stories. Likes to play the piano. Mostly classical stuff like Chopin and Elton John. Interests:- Loves old Earth Television of the 20th-21st century. Including the original NCIS , Chicago PD and The Rookie. Also likes to read actual paper books. Plus Holo novels.

Personal History		Early years:- Harold was a sickly baby. He was born 12 weeks premature. The doctors gave him only a 10% chance of survival. But the little boy must of heard them. Because slowly he started to get stronger. After two months he was well enough to go home. But his remarkable recovery set red alert klaxons off in Starfleet Medical. Who immediately red flagged him for possible illegal genetic manipulation and argumentation . Harold’s parents realized this could affect their son in later life. Especially if he wanted a career in Starfleet. So they took Starfleet Medical to court and won. All red flags and warning notices were rescinded. He grew up in the East Coast of England seaside town of Great Yarmouth. Although small as a young boy. The bullies in the area soon learnt to never judge a book by its cover. He was known for disabling a potential bully by dropping down and grabbing their groin. Not letting go even when only dogs could hear their shouts for mercy. He was given the nickname of The Grabber. School & Higher Education Years:- School:- He had a short time in nursery school. After an incident when a larger boy got turned from a tenor into a soprano.After he thought it was ok to steal Harold’s favorite toy. Young Spector was home schooled. Due to their sons' rather unique way of fighting. Harold became quite a problem for them. His notoriety made their choice of local schools rather limited. As most of the boys either cheered him on or ran away from him, holding their groins. A fact the boy's parents were keen to point out.But his maternal Grandmother came up with the solution. She knew a very good school in Glasgow that specialized in wee naughty boys.Like her wee boy Harold. A sudden growth spurt and a very strict regime. Soon turned Harold from a thug into a decent hard working young man.He did very well not only academically but also personally. He got into sports in a big way. Especially boxing. Becoming the school champion three years in a row. He also started his love of crime and detective stories. When he joined a school club.He excelled at all his subjects. His favorites were math , science and history. Sports featured heavily in his schooldays. Apart from Boxing he also excelled at swimming. College and University:- He had a few choices ahead of him. He could one day go into law enforcement. One day go to work on The East Anglian Kelp Farm project with his parents.Then again a career in Sports and later coaching would be available. Teaching perhaps? Starfleet? Harold was in the good position of having a wide choice. Due to his very high school grades. So he chose a career in law enforcement with his parents Kelp project in reserve. Something they wished was in reverse. His first attempt at college life did not go well. Some older students played a very embarrassing prank on some freshmen, including Harold. He retaliated by putting a series of soap bombs in their dorm. Sadly the senior colleague lecturer was visiting his son. One of the older students at the exact moment the soap bombs went off. Harold took the fall and was due to be expelled . But after one of his teachers spoke on his behalf it was changed to one year’s suspension. After a year he returned to college and had to begin again. But this time he kept his head down and stayed out of trouble.He moved to London where he studied his final years in Academia. Passing with full honors and his choice of any career. He was on the verge of becoming a law enforcement officer. When a chance meeting with an old friend from Great Yarmouth. Harold decided to try for Starfleet Academy. Starfleet Academy:- Harold did very well in the academy. During his fourth and final year. He helped in finding the Gorn Ambassadors young son. Who had escaped his minders and vanished. The youngling had tried his little claws trying to climb a tree and got stuck. His natural coloring made it easy for him to blend in. But Harold was able to follow the clues and find him. It gained Harold a special award and the gornlings fathers eternal thanks. Harold graduated with full honors. His first posting was on USS Ticonderoga. He has sought a tougher challenge and put in for a transfer to the flagship. This transfer was granted, and he has been aboard the USS Pioneer ever since.
