During this past mission we have learned more about Alyssa than almost any other character. She came aboard the Pioneer, refit a cargo bay, and rekindled a lost love. If this were not enough she also has completed a post with almost every member of the crew in this time. A true force to be reckoned with. Keep up the great work.

George S Patton Jr Memorial Award George S Patton Jr Memorial Award
Awarded Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:58pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The Dark Shores series of posts began with a scientific expedition that got raided. Simple enough right, wrong... The writers on this team rolled with every punch I gave them and kept me guessing with the strategy they developed to overcome the attackers. With this being the lynchpin of the overall plot they made it exciting and showed brilliant tactics. Great work!!

Alyssa's leadership of her away team through the Crooked River mission was fit for a Captain. Her method in keeping the plot moving and her writing style added to the overall feel of the mission. Add to that her attempts to solve the issue with science merits this award. Keep up the great work.

The series of posts titled "Dark Shores" is an example of what this award is meant to be for. All the writers involved in the post merge their tags seamlessly and real bring home the feeling of urgency and fear of the unknown that the post is to represent. Really great work...

Everything that Alyssa posts is simply put a tale unto itself. For every character that she writes and interacts with. I can think of no one more deserving, or who more encompasses what this award stands for.

Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The post titled "The Adventure Begins" stands out during this mission for me. If I am honest nothing major occurs there is no great revelation about a character. However, a simple look into what a crew talks about while approaching a station and vacation. What those expecting them talk about. There is a general happy feel about this post and that is something that after the last mission this ship sorely needed. I would like to commend everyone in this post for creating a great general Star Trek type post.
Outstanding Character Award Outstanding Character Award
Awarded Wed Jan 17th, 2024 @ 12:46am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
For 2023 this award goes to Alyssa Maren. During the course of the year we have learned so much about this character. The Crooked River Story told volumes about what she can handle, and the act of turning a cargo bay into an hydroponics bay showed her want to better the ship despite everything. It gives the Command Team of the Pioneer great pride and joy in giving this award to Alyssa. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in 2024.
Support Character of the Month Support Character of the Month
Awarded Tue Mar 26th, 2024 @ 12:49am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
For February 2024 I would like to award Alyssa Maren with the Support Character of the Month ribbon. Alyssa through the use of her Non Player Characters has consistently pushed one side of the story arc forward. Particularly with the use of Mira Jayna. The character is playing super sleuth as she catches on and catches up on all the goings on aboard ship. Thank you for helping to make this story one for the record book. Keep up the great work.
Support Character of the Month Support Character of the Month
Awarded Sat Jun 8th, 2024 @ 8:02pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
For the month of May this award goes to Alyssa Maren. In a relative slow month she was a posting machine out posting the command team. Her posts are always up to par and she moves the story while developing her character in every post she writes with all her characters. Add to that the ideas that she comes up with are very often better than what I had devised for the plot. Thank you for your support to this story and this community. Keep up the great work.

You are officially part of the furniture. Five years is a long time in this great hobby of ours. I want to thank you for being a part of this sim and community. Also, for your willingness to go out on a limb and test the limits of storytelling and writing. Here is to many many more years with us.
Outstanding Volunteer Award Outstanding Volunteer Award
Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:33pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
There are times when I believe that Alyssa does not know the word no. Whenever a member of the Command Staff comes to her with an idea the answer is always yes. From having one of her characters cut their limb off to using one of their characters to connect the dots on a mystery. Alyssa is always ready to lend a hand. Thank you for everything you do in keeping the Pioneer a great game and greater community.
Creativity Award Creativity Award
Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:33pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
One of the facets of this award is coming up with an outstanding idea during a mission. When you have what could be a murdered XO and you cannot trust many people on the ship, who do you turn to for medical advice. The EMH that's who... This was a brilliant idea to get a little used character involved in the story. I want to thank you immensely for this. Great work.
Executive Officer's Merit Award Executive Officer's Merit Award
Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:47pm
Nominated by Lieutenant Colonel Cornelius Tremble
Alyssa's writer is always at the forefront pushing missions ahead, keeping things moving. This has been very evident during the Evil that Lies Beneath Mission, where we have the senior staff split off and things need moving for two groups at the same time. I really appreciate that. Thanks.

Ribbon of Commitment Ribbon of Commitment
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:11pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Alyssa Maren simply put has become a go to person within this community. If you need something done, or are unsure where a story should go just ask and you will have the answer. During the mission What Lies Beneath Alyssa used one of her NPCs to keep the story moving. Always ready, willing and able to serve we are truly lucky to have her as part of the community.
Outstanding Department Head Award Outstanding Department Head Award
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:16pm
Nominated by Lieutenant Colonel Cornelius Tremble
Alyssa's write certainly makes the quartet's job easier when it comes to Missions. Depatment Heads have criteria in my book to 1.) develop and utilize their departments and even run mini-missions within those departments to bring those parts of a Starship to life. 2.) Act as story leads to help push missions along so that everyone feels they can get involved in telling and driving a story from start to finish.
This requires the write to not only take part in JP's, but to also give weight and showcase the different sections within a Department. They really do have many pieces that need to be moved around and I think Alyssa's writer does this marvelously.
Character of the Month Character of the Month
Awarded Sat Jun 21st, 2025 @ 8:36pm

For the month of May Alyssa Maren has earned this award. For their contributions to the main storyline and keeping the plot from getting stagnant. It is always great to see someone pick up the ball and run with it.
