Support Character of the Month Support Character of the Month
Awarded Tue Sep 13th, 2022 @ 6:04am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The Ensign just joined the ship and yet their arrival posts were some of the funniest that we have seen. The awkward anxiousness of a new Ensign meeting the Captain is just something I have not seen and in the post you can feel it coming off the page. Thank you for adding a Lower Decks kind of feel to your arrival. Keep up the great work.

Awarded Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:56pm
Nominated by Lieutenant Commander Rowena McGowen
After much consideration and debate with me, myself, I and more we have decided to award this months Second Officer's Award of Merit to Ensign Rachel Sinclair. For I found them to be very active and open from the day they joined our sim. For being a part of its crew and bringing them together with your ideas. You bring your own story to the table and let it live among the crew. You have been with us not that long, but it feels like you have been with us a long time. A well earned merit.

Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Ensign Sinclair joined the sim with a very interesting backstory. They have only been with us for a short time and already the backstory is taking hold and finding a place within the greater story. This character came aboard and was thrown directly into the fire. They handled it as if it were just another balmy day. Already I cannot picture the Pioneer without them. Thank you for your wonderful stories and keep up the great work.
Character of the Month Character of the Month
Awarded Thu Feb 9th, 2023 @ 4:26am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The Ensign has really turned up the heat with their writing for the month of January. Not only have they contributed to making a significant contribution to the main plotline but we got a unique glimpse into their psyche in the process. This month was a great look at how the events of a mission can have lasting effects on a person. Keep up the great work.
Bronze Star Bronze Star
Awarded Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:05pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Sinclair showed us a side of a character that is rarely seen in a Star Trek setting. Typically the crews of these great ships are heroes and are rarely if ever effected by what occurs around them. During Crooked River Rachel showed us just how profound seeing certain things can effect a person. I am forever grateful for seeing a glimpse of that side of this "hero" I can think of no better person to earn this award for the first time on this sim. Keep up the great work!!!!
Character of the Month Character of the Month
Awarded Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:10pm

Reading her journey during the mission, from joining the ship through a prison riot and then watching her friends get injured, this has been a hell of a journey for the reader as well. The overarch of the character came to a head this past month and it has been wonderful to read. Their assistance in keeping the story moving and adding ideas for future plots has been invaluable.

Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Very often in Star Trek we do not see how the actions of the "heroes" effect those below them in the chain of command. During this mission it has been enlightening to see Rachel's reactions to the Commodore going insane and going as far as to lock herself in the Brig for disobeying orders. Definitely one of the shining stars of the lower ranked characters. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Departmental Service Badge: Service Departmental Service Badge: Service
Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:40pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
It is exceptionally hard to stand up to an enemy, it is even harder to stand up to your friends. Rachel Sinclair was faced with this decision as she held a phaser on her commanding officer. Ultimately she chose what was right for the ship and its crew. I can think of no truer Service to the ship.

Medal of Honor Medal of Honor
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:10pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
It takes a brave person to stand up to their enemies, it takes a braver one to stand up to their friends. Rachel Sinclair showed us her bravery when she stared down the Captain as he threatened to ruin her career and ordered her to fire. That simple act not only showed us her bravery but could possibly have saved the ship. This award is truly deserved.
Outstanding Assistant Department Head Award Outstanding Assistant Department Head Award
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:15pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Assistant Chiefs are very often the unsung heroes in sims. They do all the work and the Chiefs get all the glory. Rachel Sinclair shows us that you can pull the strings and work from behind the scenes. Not only is this character deep and exceptionally interesting but they are the kind of character that makes you want to read on, to learn more about what happened. From a prison riot to confronting your commanding officer Sinclair has run the spectum. I for one look forward to what happens to them in the coming year. Thank you for all that you do.
