This is being awarded for all the work that they have done behind the scenes. As a member of the Command Team of the Pioneer Lachlan helps keep the sim moving and sheds some light in areas that we may not normally see in a story. Thanks for keeping me sane... |

Executive Officer's Merit Award
Awarded Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:55pm
Nominated by Lieutenant Colonel Cornelius Tremble
|
It's a tough field because we have great writers, but when I thought about what I was most appreciative of at this point in time was a strong Command Staff (because they've been carrying some of my load). Command does a lot because we enjoy it. In this instance, I want to recognize our Chief of the Boat and thank them for their hard work, time and attention to the SIM. |

Support Character of the Month
Awarded Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:58pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke

Lachlan has served as the Chief of the Boat for some time now. In that capacity he is one hell of an asset. However, in the past month he has stepped up his support. Making sure the plot moved along when needed and keeping conversation on the Discord going. Thank you for everything that you do. |

Ribbon of Commitment
Awarded Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:06pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke

I would not be able to run this sim without Lachlan helping behind the scenes. He is ever a sounding board and confidant when it is needed. Ever ready with ideas or to help shape the randomness that comes out of my head. One fourth of this command team and I would not have it any other way. Thank you so much for your time and your efforts. |

For the post between Lachlan and Cara in Wanderlust.
I thoroughly enjoyed writing this piece with Lachlan. It flowed and gave me great delight in doing this. Showed a bit more of Lachlan that others may not know of.- Merrick |

Outstanding Post Ribbon
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:37pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke

The post titled "The Adventure Begins" stands out during this mission for me. If I am honest nothing major occurs there is no great revelation about a character. However, a simple look into what a crew talks about while approaching a station and vacation. What those expecting them talk about. There is a general happy feel about this post and that is something that after the last mission this ship sorely needed. I would like to commend everyone in this post for creating a great general Star Trek type post. |

Zefram Cochrane Medal of Exploration
Awarded Wed Jan 17th, 2024 @ 12:45am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke

Lachlan has been with the Pioneer since the sim was created. It has been some ride the past six years. He has played a multitude of characters some of which are still in play. Not only are his posts descriptive and ropes the reader into them, but he is active behind the scenes assisting me in running this ship. I can say that the Pioneer would not be where it is today without his help. Simply put he embodies what this award stands for. |

Character of the Month
Awarded Tue Mar 26th, 2024 @ 12:55am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
|
For February 2024 I would like to give Lachlan Barr the Character of the Month Ribbon. Even though he is a member of the Command Team his work on this mission thus far has to be recognized. With the XO taken away, the 2XO out of her mind, and the Captain overtaken Lachlan has been thrust into the center chair. He has shown that a Marine is always up for a challenge. This mission would not be a success without all that you do. Keep up the great work. |

Support Character of the Month
Awarded Mon Sep 9th, 2024 @ 11:34pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
|
For August Lachlan as the Chief of the Boat and de facto Commanding Officer showed us the true meaning of support. This latest mission has kept people jumping about and with three of the four command staff messed up, it's good to see Top in there getting the job done. He always has, but it's more evident given the circumstances and recognition is due. |

Second Officer's Award Of Merit

I know he is the chief of the boar, but he managed to excel my expectations in this mission. He took leadership and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Good job, Sergeant Major!

Departmental Service Badge: Command
Awarded Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:52pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
|
It is said that some people are born to greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them. Lachlan is definitely the latter. During the course of this mission it has been a pleasure to see the Top take the center chair and show everyone who is really the backbone of the ship. Great work and thank you for keeping the center chair warm for me. |

Community Service Citation
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:12pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
|
It is often said that community is built on the shoulders of its members. One set of shoulders that often bears weight of this community is Lachlan Barr. He is always ready to jump in and fill in openings in the plot, and be an ear to listen when this hobby of ours gets to be too much at times. He shows us what it means to be a pillar of the community in everything he does. I cannot thank him enough for being one of the orginal Pioneers and making this sim what it is today. |

Character of the Year
Awarded Sat Jan 4th, 2025 @ 11:17pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
|
For most of 2024 the USS Pioneer wrote the mission titled What Lies Beneath. During this mission the Chief of the Boat was left in command of the ship and boy did they excel. Lachlan not only rallied the crew in their writing but kept the mission moving from an out of character perspective as well. I am confident that this mission would not have been a success if it were not for their hard work. 2024 was definitely the year of the Sereant Major. Thank you for being my friend, and sounding board. My brother from accross the pond. |
